General Qualifications
(1) Eligible international students are those who do not have overseas Chinese status or have not possessed R.O.C. nationality for 8 years or more. (This regulation does not apply to students who are citizens of: Hong Kong, Macau or the People¡¦s Republic of China.)
(2) Foreign students who are recommended to study in Taiwan under cultural exchange and cooperation agreements with foreign governments, schools, institutions and cultural or educational organizations, are not subject to the restrictions mentioned above (in 1.3.1).
(3) International students with a high school diploma are eligible to apply for undergraduate studies at NCU; students with a bachelor¡¦s degree are eligible to apply for Master¡¦s programs; students with a Master¡¦s degree are eligible to apply for PhD programs.
(4) Foreign students who have been expelled from any R.O.C. university are NOT eligible to re-apply for admission.
