Notes for Accepting Articles for NCU Journal of Art Studies

This journal primarily publishes articles in the fields of art history, musicology, art theory, visual culture, etc. Scholars in Taiwan and overseas are welcome to submit their articles. Articles previously published will not be considered. All drafts must undergo scholarly review and will be published only with the approval of the reviewers.
- The articles may be written either in Chinese or English. English articles should follow the MLA format. When the article is first submitted for review, the illustrations may be in the form of black and white photocopies, but once the article is accepted the author must provide the illustrations in the form of black and white or color photographs, slides or digital files.
- Where articles involve the use of copyrighted materials, the submitters are expected to obtain the copyright ownersˇ¦ consent. This journal will not assume responsibility for copyright matters.
- Articles to be published in this journal are limited to 30 to 70 pages, double-spaced, Times New Roman 12-point font. Article submitters are expected to provide 300 word abstracts of their articles, their names, institutions, job titles, contact addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, etc. in order to facilitate communication. Authors are also requested to provide both a hard copy and a copy of the computer file.
- When the article is published, the author will receive two copies of that issue of the journal as well as 20 article offprint copies, but no fees.
- This journal is printed by the editorial committee of NCU Journal of Art Studies of the Graduate Institute of Art Studies, National Central University. Article submitters are kindly requested to send articles and illustrations before May 1 and November 1 each year to: Graduate Institute of Art Studies / National Central University / 300 Chung-Ta Rd. / Chungli, Taiwan 320.
