"Passages
Through Spaces of Consumption"
This is a guided tour in two parts through a collective
ethnographic project on communication and commerce in the
public arena of a late modern shopping centre.
A. "Flows and Meetings"
Johan Fornas will present the project design and its basic
ideas on how media and people interact in shopping centres.
B. "Secrets and Lies"
Hillevi Ganetz reads the shopping centre as a labyrinthic
text, via Walter Benjamin, the architect, the manager of
the centre and the onsumer Harriet.
