Founded in 2003 and directed by Professor Daisy Hung, the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience at the National Central University is an interdisciplinary graduate institute devoted topromote excellent research in cognitive and brain science.
Research at the Institute mainly focuses on several topics including: Neurolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, Visual Attention, Human Memory and Neuropsychology. The Institute has very active collaborations with prestigious Institutes and Universities internationally.
Innovative neuroimaging techniques including event-related potential (ERP),Transcranial Magnetic stimulation (TMS) and Eye movements tracking system are housed in our various laboratories. Several researchers also use Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI) and Magnetoencephalography(MEG) in the IBRU-Taipei VGH to investigate critical issues in brain science.
