Juan's research aims to elucidate the neural mechanisms of orienting attention and control of saccadic eye movements in visual cognition. Juan’s laboratory has various modern equipment such as Eye Link II eye-tracker, MagstimTM Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation machines and BriansightTM frameless stereotaxy system. Lab members currently use the equipment to investigate various visual cognitive issues such as: attentional blink, visual search and eye movements, control of inhibitory behavior.
