---- EXPERIENCES AFTER THE SCHOOL
. The major theme after the school can be classified as "design for controllability". I feel very much to make this the main theme in my sought for academic career.
. The Control Configured Vehicle Project lead by Bob at GM Trilby brought me into the environment of design engineering emphasizing the modern design philosophies such as design for manufacturability, design for reliability, design for value, etc. I should add "design for controllability" to the list. This line of thinking really brings the skills of a control engineer into the main stream of the design and development world. Though it sounds more like a propaganda phrase than anything more than what the control discipline has been doing, for people already in it, it is a slogan people can rally around with, for people outside of the control field, it an explicit positions control engineering among the widely accepted fields of design engineering.
. In the CCV Project, I participated in the controller design of the automated stick shift transmission, carried out the statistical evaluation of dog clutch designs, and developed a filter for drive train torque measurement based on engine torque strut force meansurment with Tsu-Chi Chiu.
. Later on, at Zexel, I contributed to the system design of the Smart Cruise Project, a lane following vehicle concept system by automatic steering control. Currently, I am involved in the vehicle positioning algorithm development for the NavMate Project. The VP of the NavMate Project involves the applications of system identification techniques to calibrate compass and odometer, as well as the merge of sensor data with fault detection.
. Expanding the theme of "design for controllability", I would like to spend more efforts to its applications in automobile, automation, transportation management, and bio-medical researches.

One of The 7 payload devices on board Tatiana-2: BCU instrumentation contains ETP (Electron Temperature Probe), MRM (Magneto-Resistive Magnetometer), and six temperature sensors. BCU (Block of Central University) payload, under an "Interuniversity Scientific - Education Program of Space Researches," signed in July 2006, was designed and built by NCU (National Central University), Taiwan, consists of the following devices: ETP (Electron Temperature Probe) and MRM (Magneto-Resistance Magnetometer). The objective of the BCU payload is to study space weather features as well as earthquake induced signatures in the terrestrial ionosphere.

MDPI's journals are peer-reviewed, but the quality of MDPI's peer review has been disputed.[3][4][5] MDPI was included on Jeffrey Beall's list of predatory open access publishing companies in 2014[4][6] but was removed in 2015 following a successful appeal.[5] As of December 2019, MDPI publishes 222 academic journals, including 55 with an impact factor out of 70 covered by the Science Citation Index Expanded.[7] Four journals are indexed in the Social Science Citation Index.[8] MDPI journals are currently included in the Directory of Open Access Journals.[9] MDPI has been criticized for being a "money machine" driven by quantity rather than quality.[2][10]
MDPI is a member of the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association,[11] a participating publisher and supporter of the Initiative for Open Citations,[12] and a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).[13]
MDPI was removed from Beall's list in 2015.[5] Beall's list was shut down in 2017; Beall later wrote that he had been pressured to shut down the list by his employer University of Colorado Denver and various publishers, specifically mentioning MDPI.[34] In a 2017 article in Biochemia Medica, Beall wrote that he had been pressured to remove his list due to harassment from predatory publishers, and mentioned MDPI specifically as a publisher that had "tried to be as annoying as possible to the university so that the officials would get so tired of the emails that they would silence me just to make them stop."[34]

動態模擬、學說的驗証、設計改進、與設計的驗証.
工程師的修養(III) - 問題的發掘 內省 與 困難的克服 的示範.
工程師的修養 (IV) - 系統工程師的心路歷程, 研究中之主觀與客觀的掙扎, 學說驗証的重要.
工程師的修養 (V) - 從無到有, 培養生命的體驗.
