梵谷
文生．梵谷
(1853－1890）是一位用盡生命創作的畫家，瘋狂追求真愛及真實的 感受，沒有世俗的作做及世儈！
梵谷漂泊的一生和他的作品有著密切的關係，出門旅行通常可 以為他帶來新的靈感。
1869年至1876年，梵谷擔任美術複製商品店員時，屢屢因堅持非好 畫不賣而與許多欠缺美術修養的顧客爭論。在伯雷那琪礦區任臨時牧 師時，目睹礦工窮苦生活的梵谷，即使自己衣著襤褸，仍幫助工人家 眷撿煤。礦區工人尊敬他如上帝使者，但上級卻認為這樣的作風有辱 佈道者的尊嚴，而將他逐出教會。梵谷天使般的仁慈與天真、嫉惡如 仇的個性，使他無法適應充滿邪惡的社會生活。
住在荷蘭的時候，他畫了很多礦工的生活，厚厚地塗出陰鬱的 色彩。一八八六年,搬到弟弟所住的巴黎，並開始上班。這段時間 ，他寫了很多感人至深的信給弟弟，談自己的生活和作品。認識 了畢沙羅､希涅克､高更､貝納等人後，他的創作逐漸有了一些 改變。
在感情生上，梵谷一生亦倍受愛情的打擊。即使擁有善良的心， 他近乎醜陋的外表及倔強的性格，以及感情衝動時行為變得極為魯莽 ，使得他所追求的女性望而生畏。1883年，終於有位39歲的瑪葛娣愛 上了梵谷，卻因女方的父母堅決反對，導致瑪葛娣自盡，雖然自殺未 遂，但梵谷卻遭受社會摒棄，只得傷心地離開。
一系列反映現實生活的自畫像，為的是揭露內心不安的情緒， 用色大膽自由，恰能彰顯個性。而這些作品的特徵是，背景都以 黃､綠､藍､淡紫的筆調，綴出一股股躍動感，此外，也嘗試以 石墨､鉛筆､木炭､水彩描繪出激盪壓迫的張力。
在生活及感情的道路上走得相當坎坷，梵谷只好在繪畫上宣洩內 心的感情。因此我們可以看出他的作品特點多為熱情洋溢，筆觸 大膽強烈。
一生孤獨寂寞的梵谷，終於不堪精神上的紛亂和痛苦，飲彈自盡 ，留下豐富的畫作遺產，供後人憑弔。
