100 MVP Managers: Eight EMBA Students of NCU Awarded

In the 8th selection of 100 MVP Managers 2015 organized by Manager Today, eight EMBA students of National Central University have been awarded. The awardees in the Cross-the-strait Group are Cheng Chih-jen, Yu Kuo-tsai, and Wu Wen-yu. The awardees in the General Group are Chen Chieh, Fan Yi-ming, James Chu, Wu Yuan-chao and Lu Chang-chih. NCU Director of EMBA Li Shau-mei attended the ceremony, recognizing their performance in their professional fields.

To acknowledge the value and contribution of professional managers, Manager Today has been organizing activities of “100 MVP Managers” since 2008, selecting and awarding outstanding figures both in the professional and academic field. Over the years, 26 students in NCU EMBA received this award.

This year, there are three awardees in the group of “Innovation in Organizational Management”: Cheng Chih-jen, director of human resources of MiTAC Precision Technology Corporation (Kunshan) of Getac Technology Corporation; Yu Kuo-tsai, senior manager of the General Office of the Manufacturing System of Inventec Appliances Corporation; Chen Chieh, chairman of Hua-jie (Taiwan) Corporation. There is one awardee in the group of “Innovation in Product”: Fan Yi-ming, deputy general manager of the R&D Department of JDV Control Valves.

Three awardees in the group of “Innovation in Service” include Wu Wen-yu, deputy general manager of Shanghai Jiji Town Corporation; James Chu, deputy general manager of Business Development of DuPont Taiwan; Wu Yuan-chao, chairman and general manager of Shin Puu Technology Co., Ltd. One awardee in the group of “Innovation in Public Welfare and Environment Protection”: Lu Chang-chih, manager of the Office of Resources and Materials of the Logistics Department of Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company (3M) in Taiwan.
