Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Global Atmospheric Observation and Data Application Research Center, National Central University

A Postdoctoral Researcher position is available in atmospheric sciences, with a focus on data assimilation and numerical weather prediction. The successful candidate will conduct independent research, perform numerical experiments, analyze atmospheric observations and model outputs, publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals, and undertake other research-related duties as assigned.

【Required Qualifications】
• A Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences, Meteorology, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research
• Experience in data assimilation and numerical weather prediction models, such as WRF or MPAS
• Strong programming and scientific computing skills
Experience with data assimilation systems (e.g., WRFDA, GSI, or JEDI), Python, Fortran, Linux/Unix environments, or high-performance computing (HPC) would be an advantage.
Location: National Central University, Taiwan
Start Date: March 1, 2027
