Explanation:

1.2025 summer vacation dormitory network service will end on the date as follows: 
  Accounts registered during the summer vacation will be deleted, every account should be registered again. 
  (a) XiWang dorm, G14(5F~12F), B5, B6,B7,B9b : 09:00 am, 29 August


2.Dormitory network service will be able to use after the account is registered. (including your room number, port, MAC).

3.The internet activation code compulsive day is as follows:
  (a).08:00am, 15 Sept.
  (b).Before the compulsive day, you need to complete the registration in the dormitory network system to enable the dormitory network.
      After the compulsive day, you cannot use dormitory network without the internet activation code.


4.The activation time of the internet activation code is 24 hours after the registration is completed. It does not take effect immediately after the registration.
  Those who purchase the activation code after the compulsive date must bear this risk. Those who want to avoid it, please purchase it before the compulsive date.
 

5.The internet activation code for first semester of academic year 2025 is fully purchased by online electronic payment method, please pay attention to the following precautions:
  (a).Native students or foreign students who have a NCU Portal account:
      Please register your accout on dormitory network website, and then purchase the activation code through the online electronic charging method. IF the payment is correct, the dormitory network website will automatically deliver the activation code.

  (b).Short-term users who do not have a NCU student ID, please go to the NCU Portal website to apply for a NET-ID account. After the NET-ID is authenticated, log in to the dormitory network website with this account to register the information, and then go through the electronic payment procedure.
 
  (c).Users who wish to receive e-payment SMS notifications should pay attention to the following precautions:
     (1).Have a certified mobile phone number on the NCU Portal website.
     (2).The authorized dormitory network website can obtain the mobile phone data on the NCU Portal.
     (3).If the payment is correct and the activation code has been delivered, the dormitory network system will send a SMS notification.
     (4).The SMS notification function is a trial policy, and will be revised according to the actual use situation.


6.Users who move into a new dormitory should first connect to the dormitory network website through other external networks to register the relevant accommodation information, and then they can obtain the assigned IP and related network settings.

7.If there is any problem with the dormitory network, please log in to the dormitory network system to report the network connection problem. The network administrator will assist in troubleshooting the problem.
