3000 Runners Participated in Hyper Heroes NCU Campus Run

To celebrate the 102nd anniversary of NCU, NCU and Taiwan All Sports Association organized Hyper Heroes NCU Campus Run on April 29, attracting almost 3000 runners participating in the event. Lots of NCU alumni, faculty, staff, and students also joined and invited their friends to come. “I really appreciated that everyone got up early to join the road running. I would also like to invite you all to take a walk on NCU campus anytime to enjoy and explore the natural beauty on our 62-hectare campus,” said the NCU President, Dr. Jou Jing-yang.
In order to promote regular exercise and to enhance balance development of physical fitness of students, Taiwan All Sports Association works with the Ministry of Education and have organized many events of campus run featuring student runners in many universities around Taiwan. This year the campus run was held on NCU campus. We not only encouraged NCU students to do their best but also invited alumni to join, recalling their good old days studying in NCU.
The running route took an hour to finish, and those who finished the run were awarded a medal. The medal is inverted triangle-shaped, exactly the same with the NCU logo. It also keeps the wavy lines at the bottom of the NCU logo, symbolizing the university’s long history. On the backside it demonstrates the 5-kilometer running route map, which is the proof for runners who overcome all difficulties and finish the running.
