NCU Women’s Volleyball Team participated in the University Volleyball League (UVL) of 2017. As the winner in last year, this year the women’s team successfully won the first place again and became the two-time champion. It was also an unprecedented record: NCU Women’s Volleyball Team was the first team winning most champions in UVL history.

“In a decade, NCU Women’s Volleyball Team won four champions and the first runner-up for four times. Such outstanding performance is what other teams could hardly catch up with. Our women’s volleyball team is the strong rivalry for others to conquer if they aim to win, showing that we are a team of strength,” said Dr. Chen Jenn-dar, volleyball coach and Director of the Office of Physical Education at NCU.

“NCU Women’s Volleyball Team is open to all students. The training is all arranged after class; it is scheduled three times per week and lasts three to four hours each time. Team members are not just the representatives of NCU but also the advocate for volleyball in their own departments. They share the knowledge and experience of volleyball with their classmates, lead the trend in doing sports, and successfully develop volleyball at NCU,” said Dr. Chen.
