Abstract :
Particle cosmology is a discipline seeking a fundamental understanding of the Universe and space-time. Five mysteries drive our research today: cosmic inflation, baryon asymmetry, neutrino properties, dark matter, and dark energy. Resolving any of the five mysteries will revolutionize our picture of the Universe. To this end, the observation of cosmic microwave background (CMB) polarization is one of the key elements today. In this seminar, I focus on CMB observation projects in which I am involved. I then describe ongoing and future projects, in particular, Simons Observatory and LiteBIRD. In the end, I will discuss synergy between CMB observations and GW observations.
