In order to enhance students’ international mobility and competitiveness, National Central University (NCU) has facilitated multi-international learning mechanisms, partnering with a total of around 250 universities from 34 countries, such as the United States, UK, Germany, France, Japan and Korea. NCU provides ample opportunities for students to study abroad, including exchange programs, joint/double degree programs, and summer/winter overseas short-term programs.

Initiating a new era in Taiwan’s space industry
The 2019 New Space Workshop was held by the National Central University Center for Astronautical Physics and Engineering (CAPE). Representatives from prestigious aerospace companies in the United States such as Virgin Orbit were invited to share recent trends in the industry and give insight into tech development, management philosophy and international collaboration between the new space industry and other companies interested in investing or participating in the aerospace sector.

According to the latest 2019 Best Global Universities Rankings announced by the U.S. News & World Report, NCU has ranked fourth among the universities in Taiwan for five consecutive years, keeping up with National Taiwan University (NTU), National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), and National Cheng Kung University (NCKU).

Flying to Vietnam with Happiness: NCU International Volunteers Heading Southbound for Service Learning
The NCU international volunteer team headed to Sa Dec City in Vietnam to carry out their first mission in 2018. Since the city has never visited by any international volunteer teams before, the student volunteers from NCU were particularly welcomed by the local government and volunteers.
