The 2019 New Space Workshop was held by the National Central University Center for Astronautical Physics and Engineering (CAPE). Representatives from prestigious aerospace companies in the United States such as Virgin Orbit were invited to share recent trends in the industry and give insight into tech development, management philosophy and international collaboration between the new space industry and other companies interested in investing or participating in the aerospace sector.

According to the latest 2019 Best Global Universities Rankings announced by the U.S. News & World Report, NCU has ranked fourth among the universities in Taiwan for five consecutive years, keeping up with National Taiwan University (NTU), National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), and National Cheng Kung University (NCKU).

The NCU international volunteer team headed to Sa Dec City in Vietnam to carry out their first mission in 2018. Since the city has never visited by any international volunteer teams before, the student volunteers from NCU were particularly welcomed by the local government and volunteers.

National Central University (NCU) and the Hakka Affairs Council (HAC) hosted the International Conference on Revitalization of the Hakka Language and Minority Language. 11 experts with grass-root experience and academic excellence from Finland, Belgium, Germany, UK, France, Spain, and Japan were invited to participate and share their valuable knowledge.
